Synopsis: An intimate look inside the lives of one family of undocumented immigrants who are living, working, and studying in the United States illegally. After twelve years avoiding detection, father and husband Miguel Cortes faces deportation as the result of a traffic stop. However, the immigration judge offers Miguel 120 days to get his affairs in order before leaving, in exchange for him paying a $5000 bond, and agreeing to leave the country “voluntarily” at the end of this reprieve. So Miguel has 120 Days to work hard, save his money, and weigh his options about either returning to Mexico alone, or disappearing into another U.S. city illegally to keep his family together.
